Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and maintain Oracle databases to support the AIR APPS Suite components.
  • Design and implement database schemas, tables, indexes, and other database objects.
  • Ensure database availability, performance, security, and backup/recovery procedures.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance and resource utilization.
  • Plan and execute the migration of Oracle Database 12c to 19c in the cloud environment.
  • Implement best practices for database performance tuning and optimization in the cloud.
  • Manage database users, roles, permissions, and access controls in the cloud environment.
  • Manage and configure Oracle database parameters, storage, and memory settings for optimal performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Oracle database issues, leveraging advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Manage and optimize Oracle database storage solutions, including ASM, file systems, and storage area networks (SANs).
  • Implement and manage Oracle database security features, such as Oracle Advanced Security, Oracle Database Vault, and Oracle Audit Vault.

 

  1. Deploy, configure, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) resources for hosting the AIR APPS Suite.
  • Lead and manage the migration of on-premises Oracle databases to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle Cloud databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provision and configure virtual machines, networking, and storage resources on OCI.
  • Implement security measures, access controls, and monitoring for the cloud environment.
  • Optimize cloud resource utilization and manage costs.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize cloud resources for database workloads.
  • Implement high availability solutions for critical databases in OCI.

 

  1. Facilitate seamless data integration and exchange between the AIR APPS Suite and other enterprise systems.
  • Set up and maintain databases or data stores for storing and exchanging data.
  • Design and implement data transformation, mapping, and orchestration processes using integration platforms.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security during data exchange processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define database requirements and implement solutions in OCI.

  • Manage and support Oracle Applications and upgrades in the cloud environment.

Minimum Education:

A Master’s degree in computer science and data science, reflecting a strong academic foundation.
