Responsibilities:

  1. Integration Architecture Design and Strategy:
  • Analyze existing systems and applications to understand integration requirements, data structures, and integration points.
  • Design the overall integration architecture and strategy, considering data formats, protocols, security, performance, c. scalability, and high availability requirements.
  • Recommend appropriate integration patterns and methodologies (e.g., point-to-point, hub-and-spoke, or hybrid) for efficient data exchange, based on the organization’s needs and industry best practices.
  • Analyze business requirements and provide functional and technical design solutions for SAP PI/PO integration projects.

 

  1. Integration Development and Configuration:
  • Develop interfaces using various integration technologies like IDOC, SOAP, REST, RFC, Proxy, File, EDI, JDBC, BAPI, etc. ii. Configure SAP PI/PO components like Integration Builder, Integration Directory, Runtime Workbench, etc.
  • Develop custom Java/ABAP mappings, adapters, and user-defined functions.

 

  1. Integration Testing and Troubleshooting:
  • Perform unit and integration testing of the interfaces to ensure they are working as per the functional requirements.
  • Troubleshoot errors in the interfaces and provide support during the go-live.
  • Implement error handling, monitoring, and logging mechanisms for proper error management, troubleshooting, and auditing purposes.

 

  1. Collaboration and Project Management:
  • Work closely with the technical and functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of the SAP PI/PO projects.
  • Manage multiple SAP PI/PO projects, effectively coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve integration issues, ensure successful deployment, and coordinate the implementation of integration solutions across various environments (e.g., development, testing, and production).

 

  1. Documentation and Knowledge Transfer:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the integration architecture, configurations, mappings, and processes, following industry best practices and standards.
  • Provide training to the users on the SAP PI/PO interfaces and processes.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with the project team, client stakeholders, and support personnel, ensuring a smooth transition and enabling effective ongoing maintenance and support.

 

  1. Integration Monitoring and Maintenance:
  • Set up monitoring tools, dashboards, and alerts to monitor the health, performance, and availability of the integration environment, ensuring proactive issue detection and resolution.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as updating adapters, applying security patches, optimizing integration processes, and ensuring compliance with the latest security and industry standards.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance for integration-related issues, working closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to resolve complex problems and minimize downtime.

Minimum Education:

A Master’s degree in computer science and data science, reflecting a strong academic foundation.
